As a Store Manager at Lazy, you’ll lead our vintage and second-hand thrift store in Montreal, ensuring a smooth and successful operation. You’ll embody our values of sustainability, self-love, and community engagement while overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and driving sales
Task Description:
- Operational Leadership: Efficiently manage all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment, and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Sales and Performance: Set sales targets, monitor performance metrics, and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve goals.
- Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Community Engagement: Cultivate relationships within the local community, participating in events and initiatives to promote brand awareness and foster connections.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, expense control, and financial reporting, optimizing profitability while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for staff, and facilitate cross-training to enhance skill sets and promote career growth.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail management experience, preferably in a fashion or thrift store environment.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team building and staff development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting eco-friendly practices.
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
